The Willy Wonka style promotion went down a storm!
St Peter Port didn’t know what had hit it last week when 40 volunteers from the Customer Service Awards hit the Arcade and High Street in true “Willy Wonka” style, distributing chocolate bars from local chocolatier, Rebecca’s.
To add even more momentum to Guernsey Customer Service Awards, over 1,000 handmade chocolate bars were handed out to lucky shoppers, with five containing a lucky golden ticket.
The winners were able to claim a goodie bag containing – amongst other things – an iPod Nano from JT, a £50 gift voucher from HSBC, a B & Q voucher, sweets, chocolate – and much more! The first to claim a prize was Eddie Higgins (pictured) who was delighted with his pile of gifts.
The Customer Service Awards run for the month of June and nominations are invited from any member of the public who thinks they have been served by someone who has gone that extra mile.
