Organisers of the 2014 Customer Service Awards in Guernsey and Jersey are delighted to to have secured title sponsors for this year’s events.

Livingroom Estate Agents has agreed to sponsor the Guernsey event for a second year and Jersey Post has agreed a three year commitment for the Jersey awards. The events will be known as The Livingroom Customer Service Awards and The Jersey Post Customer Service Awards respectively.

Livingroom director, Simon Torode, said:
“It is no secret that Livingroom strives to provide high levels of service and being involved with the Guernsey Customer Services Awards fits perfectly with our own ethos. Modern culture seems to fixate on highlighting bad customer service but we feel it was about time to promote the good and showcase deserving Local businesses with a truly positive focus. Excellent customer service, and the ability to promote a company’s services in a positive light, acts as a huge competitive advantage and has an important role to play in our society.”

Kevin Keen, CEO of Jersey Post, said:
“Customer service is an essential part of any business and in today’s competitive market it can be the differentiator that encourages valuable customer loyalty and delivers real competitive advantage. Jersey Post is delighted to support the awards and hope that we can help to raise the profile of customer service excellence across local businesses.”

Julie Todd, founder of the events is looking forward to even bigger and better things in 2014:
“We were thrilled with the number of nominations we got last year – more than 10,000 in Jersey, as well as a good number of corporate submissions. It would be fantastic to beat that figure now that the event is better known. We have a couple of new exciting categories and of course I am extremely grateful for the support and assistance we have from the Chamber of Commerce, Channel 103 and our kind sponsors, who have really got behind the awards.”
